Which dbms do you use. MSSQL or MySQL?
    Please include the tv.log.

If can confirm this bug - using MySQL.
TV Server shows the message mentioned by Nightmare77 and if you press ok, you can create a new database. But this is not working, there will be no database created and also the old one not deleted. So i delete the old database manually just to see if it helps, but then there will be created no new one.
Going back to snapshot 09-06-2007 does work.

Sorry, no tv.log cause I read the thread after deleting the actually snapshot.

    Hi,
    same here

every time I start the Server I got "Failed to upgrade the database. It has to be updated and will therefore get deleted and recreated. Do you want to proceed?" When I click yes the config window open and next time the same question.

ps. hope the logs are clean

edit: use Microsoft SQL Server 2005

    edit2: it's me again ;-)

now I've click in "no" don't recreat and the next time no more question. So I look in the database (I think the
column to create is 'parentalRating' isn't it?) it's in there in dbo.Progam / parentalRating(int, not null).

Is my installation now fine or must I reinstall it?

Do I have to rescan channels if I upgrade to SVN 15775 or database is simple "upgraded" without loosing existing datas?

    Thanks

"Should" is the word everybody wants to hear, who just needed to rebuild the channelconfig ;-)
