When installing the TVClient plugin on a multiseat client i get:

Module C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\DVBSub2.ax failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895. Contact your support personnel.

I can continue the TVClient plugin install but TV doesn't work.

When I try to regster or unregister DVBSub2.ax I get:

LoadLibrary("DVBSUB2.AX") failed - This applicatin has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

In each case you get the following errors in the system event log:

Running DVBSub2.ax through dependency walker gives:

Error: The Side-by-Side configuration information for "c:\program files\team mediaportal\mediaportal\DVBSUB2.AX" contains errors. This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem (14001).
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.

The missing module seems to be DWMAPI.DLL which is Microsoft Desktop Window Manager API in vista I believe.

DOH!

Having just read the forum thread on the new DVB subtitles feature https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...reader_based-t25838.html?highlight=dvbsub2.ax I installed the C++ SP1 package and no more error.

Still can't view TV though - some more digging is required.
