With this (and yesterdays) build, i'm getting either a black screen or just half a second of video on some channels like:
vh1, vh1 classic, mtv base, mtv two.

The channels play fine in the tvserver preview screen.

Porblem exists both with UseTsReader.txt and without.

Tsreader is already default on 2.3.0 SVNs, you don't need usetsreader.txt anymore and you can't disable tsreader either.

Same as me, I get screen freezes as well on certain channels, and black screens too though I have those for some time longer than yesterday.
Interestingly I have those issues as well on certain mtv/vh/ngc channels, and a few hd ones.
Already uploaded a few of my streams so people can take a look at it.
The current SVN's from pretty much the last month are this unstable with my channels TVE3 is still only on my test htpc, while TVE2 with my channels is rock stable.

Aha that explains why switching channels acros dvb cards was going faster

But ive been having some issues with tv server ever since 2.3.0 finall.

After changing channels i sometimes get the last second of the timeshift buffer and then nothing, or like now just black video or half a second from the live feed.

Also changing channels with the +/- button on the mce remote doesn't always change the channel also since 2.3.0 finall, using the mini epg to change the channel usually does work fine though.

Just seems like video issues change from svn to svn, thats why i don't always notice it.

With this and yesterdays build, I cannot load the Admin interface - I just get "Unable to connect to xxx" (xxx is my PC name).

The error.log is showing

2007-12-02 16:25:55.290582 [1]: Failed to startup cause of exception
2007-12-02 16:25:55.306182 [1]: Exception ystem.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary.

plus a stack trace.

This is running on Vista using SQLExpress.

EDIT:: Ignore this - I have fixed it. I think I had corrupted the SQL database by uninstalling/reinstalling older builds. So I created a new, empty DB in SQL and everything loaded up and allowed my to configure from scratch again.

Not whats going wrong with this but removed an older (rev 15812) setup and installed the latest builds and now the tvserver on first run found no channels, then after any re-installs gave no options to scan for channels.....

My issue above was down to a corrupted database table, dropped it and ran the mp setup to clear.
