1st of all, i really love MP.
The new TV-engine is superb.

There is just on disadvantage (for me), compared with MCE.
The image quality is much better in MCE.
I use 2x floppy DVB-C, tried aprox 10 codecs, but still the quality sucks.

If i have equal picture quality, i say goodbye to MCE.

It seems as the following fix:

26/11/2007 [23:12:54] gibman added: now the 'AutoTurnOntv' setting is obeyed and interrupts any ongoing media playback when entering tvhome.

is broken again (it worked perfectly in 16576 where it was introduced), at least since 16593. I havn't tested this latest build yet, but I see nothing in it specifying that this has been adressed yet.

Can anybody tell if TV starts slowly with this build as well?

Has anyone experienced a recording issue with this build?

I went from a working 2.03 to this build of TVS. Recordings get to around 10-15 minutes then the picture breaks up and disappears. Audio is 100% fine. I do know the signal is fine as I watch live TV and there is no picture breakup at all, just the occasional glitch.

This is with FTA DVB-T

Yup, just watched 5 recordings made of the past 5 days and all of them have picture failure 11-14 minutes in. The picture starts to jitter, then pixelates until it eventually freezes. Stopping and restarting shows no video at all (black screen) but audio continues.
