Great! Thanks gibman! :)
I'll try it when I get home!

Also, would it be possible to also have a AutoFullscreenTV option right next to the AutoTurnOnTV so that when MyTV is started, it defaults to full screen mode? It would be a great wife/kids feature. I have posted about this in the TVServer suggestions on the forum, but havn't got any answer,...

    Yeah I saw that one.
    Good idea too.

Although we are in a feature freeze currently.
The change would be very simple - I'll discuss it with the team.

For me, this is something i had on my most wanted list for a long time too.. When selecting TV, just show TV fullscreen with the last channel that was active. Just like a regular TV-set.

    I agree:
Also: Could someone tell me if starting TV still is slow? (With my 4-5 days old build starting TV takea about 10-15 sec.)

I agree to start TV fullscreen with last channel like a normal TV set does would be really fine for all non technical people in the family.

Spragleknas: yes it's still slow on SVN 16599, at least for me...

I think there exists a plugin for that feature....

Another setting I would really appreciate is to be able to set a default channel as well, so that when one starts MyTV, it always defaults to a specific channel (where the kids programs runs). This way they would only have to press the MyTV button, and they would be in action!

This is probably not possible if you are currently under feature freeze, but keep it in mind,... :)

Enforcer: Which one do you mean? I have tried the "Autostart TV"-plugin, but that only handles the case when you start MediaPortal. It cannot be used to default the TV to full screen from inside MediaPortal. It also does not handle channel changes with TVE3. But is there another that could do the trick?
