This build....

This build now now works ok'ish on live tv for me, this svn is now functional again. I have dvb-s and an pvr-500 analog card, when switching channels accross cards I did get a crash/halt - mp had to be killed via task manager. This was when switching from a channel on the pvr-500 to a dvb-s channel.

Not sure if anyone else see this but in my configuration changing from a dvb-s channel to a analog channel, first blanks the screen, shows the desktop then displays the channel.

The logs attached are from an attempt to switch from a analog to a channel on a dvb-s card.

EDIT: More testing reveals failure

Live TV only works for some channels, in my case channel Five will work from startup, while BBC1 will now, just locks MP and have to kill via task manager. The odd thing is if TV starts ok, say on Five you can change to BBC1 but if you exit and restart MP then it will lock while trying to start Live TV on BBC1!!!

I have attached 2 additional logs from the test tool

MediaPortalLogs-Five.xip - Startup on Five and switch channel to BBC1 which works ok, then exit

MediaPortalLogs-BBC1 - attempt to restart MP with BBC1 as the initial channel, full lock and task manager kill required.

Not to put to finer a point on it but the TV part of MP has been completely broken since TV3/MP SVN build 16617 (12th Dec). Sorry chaps but whatever you have been changing has made live TV unusable, well at least for my setup - guess it works ok in your configurations, hope the logs help.

Sky HD still black screen no audio, no error messages though.

When I reverted to 16611 yesterday, in TV Home, black screen in preview window, picture ok full screen though.

Logs from debug att.

I will try to find from which svn it breaks for me, hope this will help.

the mpeg1-audio is fixed for live tv for me. but playing recorded tv the problem still exists!

I also have sometimes missing sound or freeze picture with the latest releases. I noticed that sometimes audio tracks which are present on certain channels are not beeing listed on audio track change menu. Also speed of channel changes has decreased noticably compared to SVN 16553.

Hi, I have problems with missing sound and freeze picture by some programs (channels). I'm using FloppyDTV and if I use their FireDTViewer, which uses ffdshov video encoder, everithing will be OK. Older SVN I have not tested yet.

I just have tested SVN 16553 and I have no freeze by particulary channels and FFdshow Video encoder starts and works, but still I have no sound, FFdshow audio decoder is working and says "48Khz, 96kbps, stereo, mp2 (libmad) and Output:none". If I use other working channels, decoder will say for example "48Khz, 192kbps, mp2 (libmad) and Output: 48Khz, 6channels, 16bit integer"
