1 - If it is not connected to the server the client obtain the information "unable to connect to tha server" and I see in "Tv" all options, so I am connected but no channels (This client connect from a Lan).
2 . I run the tv client on server (same computer) and I see the channels.
well you can't be connected properly then if you're not seeing any channels.
you will see the "tv options" on the menu regardless if you are connected or not.
Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
