Since the heereford service stopped working for some channels I had to get a new tvguide.xml importer.
So I turned to xmltv.
I use 0.5.52.0 of xmltv.
mediaportal-svn-08-09-2008--09-21-Rev19876
Downloading the tvguide.xml file works fine using tv_grab_se_swedb. I get what for me looks like a correct file.
I point to the directory where the fire is located from the xmltv plugin in tvserver.
It say it imports 88 channels and 2380 programs. But at the same time import status reports tvguide.xml:Invalid xml file:Input string was not in a correct format.
From error.log
I have read all the guides for dummies and tried to understand how this works but I failed and now I do feel stupid
