I've just converted my MP setup to multiseat - htpc bytv running mp client, which standby's when not used. TV server running on my fileserver box running 24x7. This partly came after I was unhappy about the stability of the two when combined in one box going in/out of standby on demand (too many missed recordings due to wakeup failure)...
