The problem I have is when I go into MePo config and to My TvSeries Config, it crashes:

Description:
Stopped working

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: CLR20r3
Problem Signature 01: configuration.exe
Problem Signature 02: 1.1.0.16057
Problem Signature 03: 4c3ebee2
Problem Signature 04: mscorlib
Problem Signature 05: 2.0.0.0
Problem Signature 06: 4a275af7
Problem Signature 07: 27c0
Problem Signature 08: 2e2
Problem Signature 09: System.ArgumentException
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033

Now I can run any other config, but once I run TvSeries it crashes. The only way to get into TvSeries config right now is to uninstall TvSeries, reinstall, and at the end let it run config. Doing it that way it works flawlessly and I like all the updates, but obviously that's a horrible work around.

I have no problems inside of MePo, and with MePo running TvSeries picks up added media and gets all the information and fanart no problem. I never really need to go into TvSeries config except for when something doesn't import right, then it's just easier to do it or correct something from within the config.

This is all new to my most recent update to MePo 1.1.0 from RC4, along with the latest stable StreamedMP (containg the newest TvSeries etc).

Another oddity I noticed was after uninstalling TvSeries, if I launch config, it's still listed under plugins...

Let me know what log files you need, or if this is all my system's fault elsewhere.

Can you post all your logs after you get the crash.

Another oddity I noticed was after uninstalling TvSeries, if I launch config, it's still listed under plugins...

Probably because you also have StreamedMP installed (according to you System details), if you selected TVSeries plugin during installation of that then it would have a shared reference count between the TVseries installation you did as well. When you uninstall StreamedMP, it will be officially removed.

Thanks Hop-Scotch for the Debug logs, I suspect its because you are running x64 OS. Im in the process of setting up a test machine and will let you know.

In the mean time you can change your logging back to Info.

Is there another way to just launch the TvSeries config without MePo config? Seeing as how it works after an install when it launches on it's own, I figured I'd give that a try.

Everything used to work fine, somehting just went haywire in this last update from RC4 to Final and the most recent stable version of Streamed MP (which included the most recent TvSeries and Moving Pictures).

Yes, you can if you install TVSeries using the installer it comes with a little program in the mediaportal binary folder called 'PluginConfigLoader.exe'

it takes a parameter of a windows plugin:
    Code:
    PluginConfigurationLoader.exe /plugin="c:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\plugins\windows\MP-TVSeries.dll"
Note: I think its failing in something new to TVseries 2.6 thats why you didnt see it before

I tried to reproduce on a fresh WinVista x64 and was unable to reproduce. I even installed StreamedMP to get the some of the same plugins installed and still had no problem.

You could try a fresh install of everything, could even be a problem with another plugin possibly. The plugin config loader by-passes configuration and its loading of all the other plugins so its quite possible it has something to do with another plugin you have installed (try disabling them).

Other than that, you can get more help on IRC.

    Looked this up from RoChess:

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/moving-pictures-284/pluginconfigloader-exe-fixed-crash-64-bit-windows-75589/

Worked like a charm after I copied in PluginConfigLoader.exe, I didn't at first because I tested it on my gaming desktop first, and that file was already present.

On another note. Everything works after updating on my gaming desktop, so I don't have a clue about my HTPC, but I can get into the config now, so I'm happy.

Just saw your replies. Yeah, it works fine on my other Win7 x64 box, so no clue. I'll fresh install everything at some point, but I've kept the HTPC away from the wife for a little to long already. Normally I do all my updating/tinkering late into the night.

But like I said, bypassing like you mentioned worked great, so I'll hunt down the offender when I have more time.

I am having exactly the same problem, but I am on Windows 7 32bit. It started happening after I installed the latest Streamed MP (which included the TV series plugin).

    this command works for me:
    PluginConfigLoader.exe /plugin="c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\windows\MP-TVSeries.dll"
