Finally got it going 
I've had the Client running on the server computer for a while but haven't been able to get the remote client working.
Finally after searching the forum I found the problem was related to FIREWALLS and ROUTERS. I didn't spent enough time reading the available documentation.
My experience must reinforce to others trying to get this going that it is essential that you read all the documentation, particularly the Troubleshooting section which covers the firewall issue.
I want to pass on my thanks to all the development team for their efforts in putting this server/client system together, even at this early stage I think its fantastic.
Can't wait for the final release.
