I'm getting 'unknown error' returned with my DVB-S HVR4000 card. I can stop and start TV server and it resolves the issue immediately. It will then run fine for an indeterminate amount of time, then start producing the error. Logs attached.

I'm also getting a few problems with the client, but I'll have to get logs for those later, this post is for the above issue. I get crashing ('Mediaportal has stopped working'), watchdog then produces a .NET error. I'm also getting strange problems with occasional long delays on channel changes, a shame, because this SVN is lightening quick now when the planets are all aligned.

Logs are attached for DVB-S issue. It happened at about 17:40.

I might not be experiencing the same thing but it's related. I have to at least once a day restart TV server with the latest SVN else it won't record scheduled or manual! watching Live TV is perfect.

Thats with ether of my happague win tv nova s2 cards or the skystar 2.

This last few SVNs have been really great.

My experience with the last few SVNs is as such that I'm amazed I haven't broken my remote against the wall. Can't use VMR9 anymore as recent SVNs drop to desktop using it. Can't use EVR because it jerks with HD content and. Can't use TV because TV server loses DVB-S card. Don't have time to work through each issue because I'm busy at work and have young kids. I think I'm about done with MP.

It just amazes me why people use SVN in livingroom :) My HTPC is still 1.0.2 and wont be updated until 1.1.0 has shown that it is stable.

1.0.2 was a complete nightmare and didn't work reliably for me in a few ways. I was forced on the SVNs to fix issues that should perhaps not have been present in a 'major' release. I have been running MP for years now, and every time progress is made in functionality, a huge step backwards is made in stability.I can't go back to the stability I had a couple of years ago because I don't have just 2 DVB-T cards anymore.

Thanks for your time. Hope MP can one day be what I would like to be.
