Hello everyone.
I've been using the mediaportal tv server as backend and kodi as frontend from several, everything works regularly (or almost) with only a small problem, when waking up from standby a message connection lost appears .. at this point I can do 2 things: satisfy and reopen kodi and everything starts working again or wait a few minutes for the tv server to connect.
I tried to post the problem also in the praises forum some time ago and the user Margro, as well as creator of the plugin that interfaces the mediaportal tv server with kodi maro, advised me to post the question here too as according to him the problem lies in mediaportal tv server at this point I ask for help from you, thanks for the help.

Marco
P.S. I don't know which log file to attach, ask ..

Windows 10 pro
Kodi 19.1

thanks for the reply, and there must be some errors as well. I don't know if you've seen the photo. Then it will depend on kodi?

FYI: I now got TV Server running also under Windows system user while being able to write to a network share (this means without having to start the service as a different user). The reason for me trying this out was that using the "different user for service" approach, there was one minor issue where TV Service could not write to the...

P.S. - Strangely, the TV Server my single seat setup (1.27 on a modest machine running Windows 10 Pro x64) is working from my office machine MP client. Same exact network, firewall, Defender settings. It's a slightly older version of Win 10 though - I haven't updated to 20Hx on it yet. Maybe I shouldn't (or maybe I should image it...

Hi i cannot help because i am newbie. But have you tried zerotier, also a VPN? For me zerotier is interesting because i do not have a public IP. Zerotier is encrypted network without the need for port forwardings in router. I read somewhere that disabling IPV6 was a good thing in relation to mediaportal streaming server.

The throuble is here: The 'why' is a different question. Your server log has unfortunately been taken in INFO mode. You can switch the log level in the Client settings (see 'General'). Please try a restart of the MP2 Server Service under Windows Services. The service will be stopped and restarted, may take some time. Then check if...

Would have been cool, but no. For this, and a few other reasons, I moved on to Channels DVR. More or less the same idea though, as I'm using Channels as a backend for Plex with xTeVe as a virtual tuner. I've lost touch somewhat with what's going on with MePo, but Channels is being very actively developed (which is key, as there's a...
