Hi,
My first post!!.
I have the same problem, but then I have pretty much the same H/W as you (TechnoTrend TT-budget S2-3200) and also point at Astra 28.2.
I modified the ini file for tuning to remove the mux it seemed to crash on and all the other muxes scanned okay. You could try this if you like.
As I can't remember which ones I removed I have attached the ini file I modified. Give it a go. Of, course it still needs fixing...

Thanks for thsi, will give it a go tonight. As I was mainly interested in BBC HD I just created a tuning file with just that frequency in it...got things working that way.

As I said I did have all the channels once, but that caused it's problems with scambled channels....ie. can get channel 4 and five unscrambled from both the Sky and FreeSat STB's via the SVHS inputs on the PVR-500 but because on the S2-3200 these are scambled it marks them as such and wont let me view them!

Need to fully check out what is happening there, may be able to get round that by directly changing the DB - the point I was was at when the TVServer kept crashing while scanning.

Cheers

Hi,
Yes I think this sorted it out for me. Some problem with overflow with certain Sky channels.
Thanks for the post.
