I have been using MediaPortal (without the TVServer) for a long time now and it works perfectly. I have decided to try out the TVServer and installed all the software according to the TV-Server Tutorial videos. All steps were followed and no problems were reported during the installation. After the TV server was running I ran the TV Server Management Console. The TV card was automatically picked up and I scaned my TV Channels. It found all the correct channels.
The Probleme now is that when I click on the Manual Control tree node and press either of the Start Timeshift or Record buttons a dialog reports No Video/Audio detected. The same message is reported when I ran a remote Media Portal client (with TVServer Plugin). It connects to the TVServer fine but also reports No Audio/Video detected.
I tried to find the TV Server log file (server.log) everywhere on the PC but could not find it. I looked under <C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MediaPortal TV Server\log>. Then I searched for the file server.log on the disk and no file was found.
Can someone please help or give some guidance?
