TVserver service stops working while scanning for channels (1 Viewer)

Hi

TVserver service stops working while scanning for channels and closes. No error mesasage just an dialogbox stating that the TVServer has stopped working. The scan of channels can almost go to the end but it can also stop quit early in the scan and one time it scan was finished without any errors, But for 99 time of 100 it will stop from working.

I'm running XP SP2 on a high spec computer dedicated for Mediaportal. The satellite i'm using is Astra 28.2 Please help me.

Where log?
Such usually occurs at a bad level of a signal/quality on scanned transponder.

No the patch did not help at all!

Hiya

Been having the same/similar problem for a few days (same satellite).

Tried everything I could think of, but no luck. Then this evening I accidentally set the Diseqc to SimpleA, and hey presto problem fixed.

Could be a massive coincidence but it's worth a try.

Thanke shefflad for the info tried that and it worked one time now it is the same problem once again. Including the new log files.
