Quite simply, the TVService gets stuck on Starting. When MP loads, it says waiting for TV Service to start and then after a while goes past that to Loading plugins, at which point it pauses again for quite some time before it gets to Home. However, TVService still says Starting and LiveTV is obviously not working.

After MP had loaded, I got a popup saying "Failed to start tvserviceSystem.Runtime.Remoting.RemotingException: Requested Service not found".

In TV Server Config, under Manual Control it shows my card as Idle so it seems that TVService has sort of loaded (and indeed refreshing the Services list at this point showed that it had Started) but I'm unable to start Timeshifting. I tried rescanning the channels and then the Channels list went blank, although it still shows (60) at the top. The All Channels list still shows the channels. I'm still unable to start timeshifting after doing that.

I did a complete uninstall of MP SVN (including the database) before installing RC1, although that didn't seem to be as thorough as it should have been as my TV and Radio Channels and Schedules were preserved.

Everything seems to be OK now, since I uninstalled and reinstalled the TV Server.
