Hello,
TVService.exe crashes repeatedly on my system whenever I use MediaPortal to watch TV.
This happens on both the currently released version 1.0 RC2 and the SVN build as of 22 Aug 2008.
Whenever it crashes, the following is logged in Event Viewer:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1000
Date: 29/08/2008
Time: 13:00:16
User: N/A
Computer: HTPC
Description:
Faulting application tvservice.exe, version 0.9.2.19657, stamp 487efbdb, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.762, stamp 45712238, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001507a.
I also noticed that there are many 'Continuity error's written to TsWriter.log just before a crash,
this could be because I'm in an area with bad reception.
Furthermore, the crashes seem to occur much more quickly when I view HD channels.
If any logs, ts dumps or testing on my part is required, I will be glad to provide them.
Please let me know if you can help me with this problem.
