When I start my TVService.exe service, it starts and runs for about a minute and then stops. This happens repeatedly...it never stays on for over a minute. I have tried reinstalling everything and it still comes up with the same problem. How can this be fixed? I believe I have configured my firewall to allow all of the ports required for the server. Thanks for your help!:D

I'm sorry, I am new at this. How can I access the event log and read it?

Right Click on My Computer and choose Manage. Click on the + to the left of Event Viewer then click on Application or System and check to see if there are any errors shown at the same time that TVService shuts down.

    Hello nivek516,

also be sure to check TV-Servers logs. You can access them through your startmenu. Look out for the MediaPortal TV-Server entry.
