Hi,
I have two TV-Tuner Cards: PVR150 and Nova-T Stick, one analog, one dvb-t-receiver.

If I try to start the TVServer Configuration a Messagebox pops up that the TVServer is not running. Clicked "yes" for starting it, it takes 20seconds until the COnfiguration window appears and then there comes an exclamation-Messagebox with the same error Message. If I try to click anywhere in the Menu the Messagebox repeats several times and the right part of the window always stays empty (no configuration possible).

Then I unplugged the Nova-T Stick, restartetd the TVServer-Service and then: everything works fine!! I can start the Configuration and set everything in it.
If I then plugg he Nova-T Stick the same error as described above comes up...
It does not seem to work with this combination of TVTuners...

It would be great if you could resolve this problem, cause I wanted to change ffrom Vista Mediacenter to Mediaportal for exactly this solution to get analog and dvb-t-tuners parallel working...

Thx alot!!

it seems like the TV-service fails to start when it detects your tv-cards.

wird thing is that i am using a Hauppauge Nova-T USB-Stick as well without any issues

we both use ::this device::, right?
could you please try to remove the PVR card and only use the NOVA-T?

It would be great if you could resolve this problem, cause I wanted to change ffrom Vista Mediacenter to Mediaportal for exactly this solution to get analog and dvb-t-tuners parallel working...
so it doesnt work in VISTA MCE either? (i am not sure if it even should...)

maybe you encounter a issue which is notcaused by MediaPortal.
it could be a driver or hardware issue as well. :(

    Hi!

I already tested it without the PVR150 and it works. The other way (only the PVR150) also works well.

Yes, we're talking about the same device.

In VMC it is sorrily not possible to use analog and digital TV-Cards together, so I can just choose one of them. But each of them would work, the other one wouldn't be used...

    thx!

Not seen this here, but i don't have a Nova-T Stick only other combinations.
Is it also a problem with latest SVN?

    Hi,
Not sure what this could be, can you attach all logs after a test with both cards & TV-Server fails?
