Hello I'm getting pretty sick of the fact that my channel changing is so slow, I tried almost everyting first i tried both the old and the new media portal on xp. Than I tried them both on Vista and still my channels take about 20 sec. to switch also when I turn Timeshifting of it freezes after about 15 sec.. Now my idea was to go to mythtv under linux only my twinhan 2033 is not supported bij mythtv. I didn't install the tv server would that help i don't understand the purpose of it, and how to install but I will try it if anyone can tell me if it's usefull. Also when it scans it find's about 100 channels but no discovery HD

1. Has anyone got a twinhan 2033 with alphacrypt working good in mediaportal in holland?????

3. Will tv server fix this problem and is it hard to install (what does it do anyway)

4. Why can't it find the HD channels and will this also be fixed with tv server

Yep, maar af en toe een vastloper van mediaportal moet je voor lief nemen.
(Yes, but occasional hangs up should be taken for granted)
2. What am i doing wrong
Geen idee wat je fout doet, maar ik gebruik nieuwere drivers die ik van ftp.twinhan.com heb gedownload.
Helaas werkt deze FTP helaas niet meer.
(I have no idea what you are doing wrong, but I have newer drivers that I downloaded from ftp.twinhan.com.
Unfortunately this FTP does not work anymore)
3. Will tv server fix this problem and is it hard to install (what does it do anyway)
TV Server zal wel de HD kanalen vinden, maar of je kanaal wissel sneller zal verlopen weet ik niet.
TV server is niet moeilijk te installeren en staat ook ergens op de site uitgelegd hoe het moet.
TV server is de opvolger van de huidige tv server die in mediaportal zit en biedt meer mogelijkheden zoals een
mogelijkheid om de server op een andere machine te laten draaien dan de client.
TV Server 3 is gebaseerd op een achterliggende database en daarom dien je Microsoft SQL server
of MySQL geinstalleerd te hebben

It is not hard to install and it is explained somewhere on this site.
TV server 3 is the successor of tv server 2 which is installed in the current mediaportal. The TV Server offers new
features like running the server on a different machine then the client.
TV Server 3 uses a database and therefore you need Microsoft SQL server or MySQL installed or it won't work)

Ik zal proberen om de drivers (1.0.8.0) bij te voegen maar het kan zijn dat dit niet gewenst is en dat ze verwijderd worden.
I will try and attach the newest drivers (1.0.8.0) to this post, but it could be that this is not allowed and then they will be removed.

Yo Damandan thanks for the fast reply i've downloaded the attachement and i'm now installin xp again because vista is pretty instable. Do you use the tvserver? and do you have to install the mceplugin from twinhan.com? Thanks for so far I will putt my progress here
