Twinhan DTV - how to get it working? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Im having trouble getting my new Twinhan DTV to work in Media Portal.

1. Installed hardware TwinhanDTV CVB-C VP-2033
2. Installed drivers 2.62 and BDA Driver 1.0.1.6 (latest)
3. Figured out frequencies and sample rates for Canal Digital CableTV, Norway (354Mhz, Sample rate 6950, 64QAM, etc)
4. Tried TV software from Twinhan and managed to find and show a lot of different tv and radio channels! :)
5. Updated Media Portal's CaptureCardDefinitions.xml and it recognizes the card. (with xml from the forum)
6. Created my own dvbc Canal Digital Norway.dvbc file with my frequencies.
7. Scanned for tv channels with Media Portal setup and found about 70.
8! Problem: When showing TV under "My TV" menu in Media Portal the TV-windows turns black on most channels.
On exception is BBC World whichs displays the picture and sound for about 3 seconds and then turns black! If I open full screen when its black, I get a no signal message.

I have tried all video codecs and audio codecs I have installed with simular results.

Please help. :-O

Ps. I have read other treads regarding the Twinhan, but they seems to get it working, so I think my issue is different. Therefore new thread.

Allright, here is some news.

I installed MyTheatre and it worked on the first attempt. Very stable as well.

So Im now assuming all drivers/codecs are correctly installed.

Btw. Im using Conax 4.00e, is this version supported?

Still no luck with MediaPortal... :-(

Tried "mediaportal-svn-06-18-2006--01-01.rar" and in the meanwhile I have also updated the BDAdrivers to v1.0.1.9.

Still same problem.

I have the same problem. Free to air channels works ok, but scrambled no.Epg info (from dvb) is loaded, but there is a blank screen :-(
Twinhan DTV works ok.

I tried to use these BDA drivers :
DTV-DVB Mantis BDA Receiver
1.0.1.9
1.0.2.1

Could anyone help us with this problem ? Thanx

MP does not support the Mantis CI capability.

Twinhan is using a new Api for Descrambling which need changes in the Descrambling classes and the MPSA Filter, which does not support CA-PMT yet.
