No. As I understand this is an issue that will be looked at in the future. Have a look at the new moving pictures upcoming release in which you will be able to sellect from a sub menu using groups.
On another note I use moving pictures for my main movie selection and mymovies for other stuff. This might work for you. Maybe try using both movie plugins. My Films and Moving Pictures are usually similar in skin to my movies. This might not be the response you are looking for but it is one that works, which is always good!
Cheers
Just remembered, there is an instance of this been done before. My Animations started as a modified TV-Series Database. Might want to look that up!
You could use filters based on Video Codec. Or rather than filters, use categories based on Video Codec. Thus, in the first menu with Unwachted / All Movies / genre etc... you will have an entry called "Video Codec". You can rename this yourself in anything you want, like "Quality".
After this, you will see a group for each type of codec. I only started experimenting with this, but I make a distinction between H264, divx and DVD dumps.
Just from a quick look around:
Create Video Codec as new Category
Press on the Advanced Button, transform from dynamic to static
Edit the subcategories, make for instance a HD that takes all H264 and a SD that takes all non-H264
Future version of mediaportal will allow menu items to pass an argument to the plugin, in the future moving pictures will support this argument and start within a specific category. When this arrives you can have 2 links to moving pictures in the home menu, each one starting within a different category.
Until then you can setup a category in moving pictures for both HD and SD, and when you load the latest version of moving pictures (1.0 beta) it will start on the category selection screen. You will also have to use a skin that supports moving pictures 1.0 beta.
