Two Questions 1- Audio, 2-Remote. (1 Viewer)

Hi All

Windows XP Media Centre Version

I have succesfully set up a media centre using Media Portal 1.0.1 and have a couple of questions.
I am sure the answers are there, but I have not been able to find them yet, so would appreaciate any assistance.

1) Is there a way of automatically adjusting the audio on video files? Or a plug in which would achieve this? I mainly use my system as a music video jukebox, but many have completely different audio levels, and I would love to be able to watch them without having to constantly reach for the volume.

2) Is there a way of remotely controlling the system via the network? I know XBMC has this facility with it's HTTP server, but I can't find that option in MediaPortal, and in my set up it's the perfect way of controlling things.

Both questions may have a 'Duhh its this option' answer, so please kick me and tell me where it is!

That's how I am doing it at present, but the screen update when scrolling the menu is painfully slow!

hm, i want also an remote controlling feauture, like via http or an mp client, to control mp via remote desktop, because i wouldnt leave my 52" LCD Screen on, when i want to hear some music. Because kwh's are very expensive in germany

But what about a volume equalizer for video files?

AC3filter and ffdshow audio codecs both have automatic volume control (AGC) facilities.
