I've taken a look at the lockups and I think it's just that the MHEG app is running out of context. It's assuming that it can do things that just arn't possible when run standalone. It may also be that there is data missing from the MHEG app. It's hard to tell since I know nothing about how the BBC MHEG application actually works.
