    Record the files in TS and not MPEG, use VLC to playback files and use the subs from the stream.

    Start timeshifting in MP and then use VLC to access the stream from where you can also access the subs.

    With MP client you will need to read the thread on the subtitles and the beta code that can be utilesed.
