am i right in saying that the current TV capabilities in 0.0.2.0 don't support DVB-T teletext or "red button" features... or more to the point, there is no support for MHEG ?

example i switched to channel "BBC Parliament" and it didn't laod the channel properly.

also it seems i am unable to access BBCi (digital teletext service).

so is this feature missing ? or am i missing something.

one major issue i will have if it doesn't support it is that we have PPV sports on DVB-T and you need to be able to access the MHEG pay screen to get to it.

This is a shortcoming of DVB-T PC cards, they do not fully do what a freeview box does. Shame maybe one day eh..

You need to look at this thread

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?t=8520&highlight=

This used to work but in certain builds there is a bug not allowing the correct update of the database with changes made to tv staions.

The main problem is that MP uses at the moment an old TV engine that was designed mainly for analog cards.

Even though the filtergraphs built for the DVB-T cards have all the broadcast data availble MP doesn't use it .

When the new TV engine is out this should change.

As a matter of interest you will find the 'audio description' carried on the second audio channel in MP but htere is no way to merge this with the main audio channel, so pointless realy.
