UK TV Catchup Plugin - who will help me develop it? (1 Viewer)

Anyone interested in this sort of thing? Or does a plugin already exist for this?

You can now get catchup TV online (for free) for the following channels: *BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, BBC News, CBBC, CBeebies*, ITV1, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, Channel 4, E4, More 4, Five.

The BBC channels are asterisked due to the fact they are harder to interface and to control, but the other channels will simply play in the inbuilt MediaPortal player - which is Windows Media Player - yes?

If its not Windows Media Player then the Channel 4 channels will not work either as they are WMV DRM'ed


Help needed...

I am willing to do all the back-end stuff but I am hoping someone is willing to interface it into Media Portal and do the skin files etc...? I also need a webserver/webhost for running some scraping scripts and to host some files for the plugin on the server....so it needs to be UK based and have bandwidth to spare aswell as being about to run a cron job for a php script which usually takes around ~2minutes to complete.

Anyone willing to help/interested?

I know the plugin "TVGemist" is doing exactly this for Dutch television.
Maybe you can get help (team up) over there..
