in the tve-mmc I get in the "manual-control-menue" by stopping the service

many many many
windows with the error-message: "unable to access the service"

If I wait a little, the screen is full with this messages

Nothing to see in logs.

I meant, there comes a lot of these "error-message-windows" on my screen.
Have I missunderstand you?

For testing:
1. open TV-server-managment-console
2. -> manual control
3. press -> stop service

Still present in svn13053.

But the first time, there was nothing to see. And I must always reboot my system

you should be able to end task on teh process to stop it doing it, just to add to the list mine is also doing this, and since it started i can't connect with the clients, just for information i'm using mysql is everyone else using that?

Although, no need to reboot server PC.

just enter taskmananager.
Kill tvservice.exe along with setuptv.exe

Now restart the setuptv.exe and start the tvservice when it prompts for it.
Back in business again.
