Unable to change recording resolution (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have a Hauppauge PVR2 USB encoder card, and I'm unable to change the recording resolution.
Even though I have set the frame size to 640x480 in Media Portal Configuration, the recorded resolution is always 720x480. I have attached MediaPortal.log

Can anyone help ?

Hi,

Answering to myself, so this may help other people.
After much trying, I managed to change the recording resolution by using another app. It's a small app, called VirtualVCR, where I can access the card properties and change the resolution (which is then used by MediaPortal). Funny thing is that this app won't work properly with the card (i.e., neither display nor recording video using it works), but it can change the resolution. Media Portal, on the other hand, theoretically supports the card, but can't change its recording resolution.

I'm still curious to know why. Also, one other thing I miss is to adjust the image settings (brightness, contrast, etc) through Media Portal. I'm using this same small app to do this, but it would be incredibly more convenient to set those in Media Portal.
