unable to create graph - x64 + .net 2 (1 Viewer)

Well i took the plunge and tried windows x64 with the 64 bit drivers for my tuner card, its a Fusion dvb-t plus card, it all works in windows but when i try and run the configuration to get my card setup in media portal it comes up saying unable to create graph when i try to select it, has anyone managed to get this working? or has the moniker or whatever its called changed in the drivers since its 64 bit now and will need to be added again to the card definition file?
Any ideas?

Are you adding the right card in setup? I looks like in the logs youve selected a S/W encoder card. You should be selecting FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture

Callifo ..if u were thinking the WDM meant software..i have the same on my Dvico DVB-T USB2...which is definitely digital...odd i know

i've tried my Fusion DVB-T USB2 with Dvico's latest 3.3beta1 *x64* drivers ...but i got the same result in MP

i thought it may have been an old cvs playing tricks , but before i had more time to test it..i have to move the USB2 tv tuner back out to my HTPC ..coz the x64 PC is nowhere near a tv antenna point ..and some crafty daisy chaining was getting in the way

i couldnt autotune...in the internal or external wizards

the card definitions seem fine

try to use graphedit to connect the "Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" to "the two Dvico filters available ....do they connect? can u post a screenshot of this?

if they do connect in graphedit, then the graph should build fine in MP ..but YES im having this issue too atm

yeah it defaults to the WDM but when i select the transport stream one i get the error message, i have tried with a few of the later cvs releases to see if it resolves the problem haven't sorted it out as yet

how silent just out of curiousity on yours with x64 and the 64 bit drivers from Dvico does your card get displayed twice in media portal config screen, mine comes up twice 1 for the transport stream and one for the WDM one

okay i managed to go into graph edit and find where the mistake lies, it is in the capturecarddefinitions.xml file, i changed one number that was different and now i'm not getting that error message, i can go into it and do autotune, but i just can't find any stations , i will keep having a play , hopefully you might figure it out as well SiLenTYL

i think my problem was that the name has changed from the fusion x64 bit drivers, so i had to go into the capturecarddefinitions.xml file and change the number so it matched up with the one that was in the graphedit . Now i dont' get that error message, just change tune in the tv now

Autotune will not work - Dvico DVB-T Dual on Windows XP x64

My first post to this forum - I've been struggling for days scouring forums and going through a process of elimination in getting my Dvico DVB-T Dual up and running on Windows XP x64 to no avail and now need help!

With a small change to the CaptureCardDefinitions file, as mentioned by Nighmare77, I was able to get both tuners recognized by MP. There were no errors, however autotune simply did not find any channels on either tuner despite Dvico FusionHDTV running perfectly and tuning in all channels.

The Dvico drivers install fine - I double-checked that the BDA drivers installed, which they did indeed. I've tried all driver releases from 3.2 onwards, 32bit and 64bit versions (removing the hardware and removing all traces of drivers between each one). FusionHDTV runs perfectly with all versions. I've also tried a complete re-install of Windows. I managed to get the patched version of psisdecd.dll to stick as well after much WFP hacking. So, all of the things that have been advised time and again on these forums have been tried, and I've now run out of options.

I found a version (2.0.0.6) of ScanChannelsBDA, which I tried on both tuners, but this too was unable to find any stations (I allowed it to scan through all Australian frequencies, with "nothing found" being the result on each one). Hence, it's probably safe to say that the problem is not with MP, but with the BDA drivers themselves. It's odd that FusionHDTV works just fine with these drivers, however anything outside of that, either MP or ScanChannelsBDA, does not seem to be able to tune in any channels despite them both "seeing" the tuners okay.

My next step is to try the plain old 32bit version of Windows XP but I would far prefer to stick with x64 if I can, so if there is any help out there I'll persevere!

Has anyone actually been able to get a DVB tuner (particularly the Dvico Dual) working in Windows XP x64? What did you do to get the BDA drivers working?

If you can help me get this working I'll be forever indebted to you (as will my wife who is now starting to ask all those questions like "I thought this was supposed to be easy to use???", and my workplace who is sure to start noticing my slowed productivity as my HTPC obsession reaches a record high....)
