It has happened twice so far: While watching TV for 3-4 hrs, I tried to change a channel and the picture froze (on the previous channel). Yesterday evening it froze for about 20 seconds and I was able to tune again after pressing stop. Today it froze completely and MP didn't respond to "stop". Reading the TV log I saw that it was trying to delete the timeshift buffer (line 2010-01-14 12:41:24 in TV.log) and although it reported success, I looked at the folder and the files were still there (I wonder if this is normal behavior, on second thought). Both times the problem was channel-specific, the first I was switching from analog to analog, but the second occurrence which was more severe, I was switching from DVB-S to analog.

The only thing I have changed in my configuration recently is that I disabled the teletext "remember last value", I enabled DVB-EPG on one (irrelevant to the problem event) channel and I enabled preloading on both tvcards. Could any of these be the source?
What about the error reported, to what does it point?
