Unable to play any *.mp4 (avc / aac lc) (1 Viewer)

Hey out there,

I have a strange problem concerning the playback of any *.mp4 encoded with avc / aac lc codec. I think I tried nearly everything out to get these running but, until now with no success. Every time I try to get one of those files running there is an error Message:

Unable to play file: filename.extension
Video Codec: avc
Audio codec: aac lc

Outside MP these files play fine within VLC or Quicktime but inside all those fail to play. I have a second installation of MP on other hardware and here these files play fine as well. I think i tried nearly everything out to find the problem. I tired another container format (avi or mkv) with no success, I tried to recode those with another audio codec (ac3) with no success. So I think the problem is related to the video codec itself. I have no idea what else I can do. Here is a part of a MediaPortal.log:

Possible solution.

I already read about the SAF a lot, but i'm not sure about cuda compatibility of the package. because of the poor performance of the atom cpu i thing gpu acceleration is nessesary for watchong 1080p avc content. an because of this i used to use the coreavc or cyberlink decoders that provide cuda acceleration using the ION chipset.

No need to use CUDA. NVIDIA ION (9400M) should worku using DXVA without any problem.

Hey hoborg,

I just installed SAF and the video playback seems to work fine (there is no error when trying to play). Right now i can just say that viedeo seems to play fine, cause i'm sitting in my company and remote control my htpc using vnc over vpn. this evening (german time zone) i can say more. Thanks a lot for your help.
