When trying to play a DVD from the main menu, I just get a dialog box up with the message: "Unable to play disc - did you insert a disc?".

My error log says:

Hi,

well, since I posted (a while ago now) I performed a complete re-install of the OS and everything, the problem went away briefly, and has now been replaced by a worse one...when I try to start MP, it just sits there and consumes more and more memory until it dies. I posted a query on this too, no response yet :(

The DVD decoder software in the system is from InterVideo which comes with the Hauppauge DVB-T box.

I have installed CyberLink Power Cinema trial version which runs fine. I would prefer to use Media Portal, it has better features - any help to actually get it running would be much appreciated!
