hi
i was playing a video file (xvid) and it was perfect , no problem at all, until suddenly , before the end , the screen freezes,so i restarted Mediaportal ,but i can't play this file at all (black screen then after a minute a jittery video), i still can play all sort of video files (including xvid) with no problem , except this particular file!.
the same problem happen before with some TS files , some files suddenly can't be played! while a had played them before and still play other ts files with the same encodeing and source. as if Mediaportal is corrupting some files after playing them!

ps. i can still play this file perfectly in vlc.
log included

thanks

27-03-2010 17:30:20.569 [be8]ERR: Could not get IMFClock interface

This seems to be the cause.

Can only give a couple of suggestions, run filmerit and see if there are any codec errors, also have you or windows updated graphic card drivers, anything after 190.45 gives me errors\bsod, so might be worthwhile reverting to older driver.

As this seems to be a EVR error, you could also try changing the renderer to vmr9 un MP config filter section, but thats not a total solution, also try reinstalling directx.

i tried to put it on vmr9 , same problem , i put it back to evr now.
i installed directx from here . nothing changed :(
