Hi,

I can't scan Analog signal due to no audio/video encoder for software analog card. Does it mean I don't have an encoder software installed for my analog card?

BTW, I'm using a TV tuner "AverMedia A336-D Mini-Card Kits WW Analog + DVB-T Digital".

Please advise.

Yes, it sounds like you are missing encoder software.
Have you installed the software that came with your card?
If you have an ATI graphics card then try downloading and installing the Avivo package...

my graphics card is NVDIA ION. and I already installed NVIDIA ION drivers.

What are the encoding softwares that I need to install?

    When I said:

... I meant, have you installed the software that came with your TV card. AverMedia should have provided the encoders on the driver CD that came with the tuner. If you didn't get a CD, you've lost it, or the tuner came with a laptop then you need to visit AverMedia's website and download the software encoder package. I have already looked for your tuner there but I can't find it listed. Perhaps you will have better luck. If you can't find it either then you could try this AverMedia encoder package.
