Every now and then I get "Unable to start timeshifting" when I'm zapping to a channel. It seems to happen only between channels that are on different transponders. But it sometimes happens too when TV is off and I'm trying to turn it on. If I try zapping again right after the error, usually everything works fine on 2nd try. Most of the time zappings are OK and it shouldn't be bad signal causing this.

This is what I get in logs:

    2009-05-12 20:45:41.319164 [14]: dvb: LockedInOnSignal waiting 20ms
2009-05-12 20:45:41.339164 [14]: dvb: LockedInOnSignal could not lock onto channel - no signal or bad signal
    2009-05-12 20:45:41.340164 [14]: tvcard:FreeSubChannel: subchannels count 1 subch#0 keep graph=False

This never happened to me before in XP and MP 1.0 RC1. After I moved to Vista I started to have this problem. I've tried different drivers and firmware for my FireDTV but those don't make any difference.

Attached tv.log has successful zappings and one failing with timestamps above.

What happens when you try the TV-application installed by the floppydtv drivers?
stop tvservice.exe before you do that. :)
