Hi guys, I'm having a strange problem with the tv-card. It doesn't record since there is no signal which is the same if try to timeshift in the tv server configuration screen.
I also tried it on another system, previously with MP1.0RC3 and now with 1.0

The card is ok since I tried it on windows 7 mediacenter and there it works fine.

Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong or how to troubleshoot this?
    TIA!

I'm having the same problem, I scanned for channels and it found all of my cable channels, but when I start the program and go to My Tv, it says cannot start timeshift, no audio/video. Does the same in preview with tv server config

    Hi Guys,

Isn't this just for having the TV on when you enter it and did you solve the problem of not being able to watch/preview/record with this?!?

    Hi Peter2,

my mistake I have not seen that you have a analog TV Card.
But I have another idea, maybe you have to change your recording format

to mpeg. Normal is the tranportstream, but it works only for digital TV Cards.
    I hope it helps you.

    Regards Christian:)

I have the same problem also, but it only happens when resuming from hibernation (I don't use standby).
My DVB-T cards work fine on resume, but when I try to view an analogue free-to-air channel, I get the error "Unable to start timeshift. No signal".
    Rebooting always fixes it.
The problem is that I want it to wake up automatically to record from the analogue channel, which obviously won't work if there is no signal.

Same Problem, cannot watch TV, better go back to mp0.2.2.3 so no tv server is used.
