Had some problems tonight with my Nova-T (dual tuner) setup. It's probably related to the two recordings I had scheduled, as it occured after the second one started.
The first recording started at 19:58 on Ch.5 and I manually stopped it at 20:59, although it appears to have then restarted automatically and recorded for another minute. The second recording started at 20:58 on ITV2+1 and at 20:59 I switched to viewing this channel as well. I didn't actually think the recording had started at the time I switched, as it didn't ask the usual "Play from beginning or livepoint?" question.
At 21:08 I tried to tune to BBC2 but got the "Can't start timeshifting. No free card" error. Checking in TV Server config showed that both tuners were tuned to ITV2+1, with one recording and the other timeshifting. So I stopped LiveTV, which freed up the tuner assigned to timeshifting but I still couldn't tune into another channel. Tuning back into the channel being recorded did bring up the "Play from" dialog this time, but after selecting livepoint TV Server config showed both tuners being used again.
I then shutdown MP and restarted it, but that didn't make any difference. In TV Server config, I was able to start Timeshifting on a different channel to that being recorded, which didn't change the first line showing card1 as idle but created a new line below that showing card1 timeshifting BBC1! In the end I had to stop the recording so that I could watch a different channel.
I've only uploaded the tv.log as that appears to be the only logfile that contains any relevant info but let me know if you need me to upload a full set of logs.
