I receive a dialog box telling me that an unknown error occurred when I try to view any TV channel.

    2010-09-04 22:11:41.093750 [(16)]: Exception :Error: DeveloperErrorUnclassified

This occurs both in MediaPortal and when attempting to use manual control of the card in TV Server.

Previously I have had some serious issues with the database and believe this may be related to the DB connection however I have done a clean install of both MP and MySQL between then and now. Any tips on how to confirm the database is fine would be appreciated also.

I have included logs from both today (04_09_10) and from 1.0.2 where the database had corrupted in case they may also help.

Seems your DB is corrupted. Please drop it and retry.
Let us know if all is sorted.

    Thanks.

I have done so, and uninstalled mysql shortly after posting the logs.

I installed MS SQL in its place, and seem to have a much better, more stable system. On average I only need to reboot about every 3-4 days where previously it was every 24hrs.

A Previous install also had a database error that corrupted the database. I am not good with databases so it may be just me.

    Thanks heaps for your help.
