"Unkown error" when setting up MP by using S-Video as input (1 Viewer)

Been several days, still fooling around with no clue. Would appreciate if could help me out.
My system conf is lsted below. Basically I use a KWorld PCI-120 card, and I'm feeding it with s-video from a settop box.
MP doesn't seem to work. Every time I try to start TV, it tells me "unknown error".
I believe I've got all pre-requisites (from installation section of the menu) taken care of. This is first time I'm trying to install MP. Thanks.

You should try a different software encoder. For example you can use the Cyberlink or Intervideo encoders. Look at the wiki for some links to trial versions: UserGuides/SW-Cards_setup - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation

It seems that the Ulead video encoder doesn't fit to the muxer that the TvServer uses.
