    Hi All!

I've just updated from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 and while starting MP the following error message appears:

TvPlugin and Mediaportal don't have the same Version.
    Please update the older component.
    Mediaportal Version: 1.1.1
    TvPlugin Version: 1.1.0

Does anyone have a hint for me?

    Thanks in advance!

    Uwe

    Thank you!

But I've found a better solution:
    • uninstall the TvServer,
    • extract the new TvServer-Install-File from the MP-Install-File
    • install it
    . . . and everything works fine.

    Kind regards,

    this you call "better solution"?
I know you can uninstall the TV SERVER and it will work, but then you need to reconfig everything again (channels, epg etc)
and also my way takes only 1 second
    I won :)

    . . .
    I've deleted tvplugin.dll . . .
. . . if you simply delete a dll, I would expect that something doesn't work longer

    Hello,

did you use BackupSettings to restore config?

At the last update I killed it with restoring the "old" Plugin.

Restoring without the option "plugins" and doing it manualy only for those I'm sure of, did fine!

    Greetings

Mediaportal keeps all settings while updating.

TvServer: no, I didn't backup. I used the TV feature rarely, so I lost only the TV channels.
I clicked "search" to restore them :D

    Kind regards,
    Uwe

No impact? So it seems to be a dead file or unused file. In this case it should has no effect ... also for the originally issue ...
