I decided that I want to update one of my two MP test installations. Which is the correct procedure?
I want to keep the databases.

Same question... It's said that best way to install RC3 is to first uninstall RC2... is there any way to export settings & database and import them back once RC3 is installed? May be copying .xml files from RC2 installation (I did so from RC1 to RC2)...

    Thanks.

    I'll give it a try!

    Thanks!

PD: Strange to have an entire Mediaportal backup plugin in TV-Server window... ¿?

Well... after some problems with card ids in RC2 and RC3, and some "directory not found" errors for recording and timeshifting folders, it did the trick.

    Thank you.

I suspected that might be the case, It was a process, and plenty of opportunities with mobo upgrade/cloning system drive, increasing share drive capacities and OS upgrade, all going on. I did a reinstall and restored user files, after everything settled in, and the issue seems to have gone away. Thanks!

I eventually came across the TwinHan driver CD that was included with the original product. The CD contains numerous drivers for the different TwinHan tuner models, but the drivers are for Win 2K (32-bit only) and Win XP (32-bit and 64-bit). The drivers install directly on Vista, and the drivers can be installed on Win 7 and Win 10...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

Judging by the source code, 1.20 has DB version 61, and 1.33 has DB version 62. That is, one column has been added: symbolRateMultiplier
