update music database fails (1 Viewer)

When I click update database from selected shares, it scans find all the files (rougly 20000), then goes to Rescan complete (without adding them to the database). I remember when I had it working before it would analyse the files whilst adding them to the database.
This line is in the log, which sounds like it could be the culprit, but I don't know what its referring to.
2009-04-30 13:14:29.234375 [ERROR][Config Main]: Musicdatabasereorg: Unhandled error Length cannot be less than zero.

My music is on a mapped network drive if thats relevant.

Not sure what it is, have you tried using complete path \\SharingComp\Music ?

I had a similar issue when upgrading to 1.0.1. What caused the issue was a *.CUE file that was in one of the MP3 directories (might also possibly be *.txt's, but in my case it was a *.CUE file).

If it's caused by a presented cue file it is a bug, hmm let me test that later today, maybe hwahrmann already has fixed it .....

I had this same error. After removing some *.cue files the problem was solved. Hoewever there are still some *.cue files in my music directory. So the cause in my opinion is not the .cue file itself, but it's contents.
