You should be able to use the "update satellite function" to get up-to-date satellite tuning details at any time.

Hmmm, okay. So in that case you need to contact FastSatFinder and ask them to add it. That's where our tuning details come from. We automatically update every day.

Actually I should say...
The last update date in the FastSatFinder files is April 9 2016. From that I guess they only update weekly. If you wait until April 16, the transponder will probably be added automatically. Obviously the delay is not ideal, but it's not really in our control.

Yes, however there is a different process for updating our satellite tuning details:

1. Open TV Server Configuration.
2. Go to the scan section for a satellite tuner.
3. Click "update satellite list".
4. Open Windows Explorer.
5. Navigate to "c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbs".
6. Copy all the files in that folder.
7. Navigate to TvEngine3\TVLibrary\TVServer.Base\TuningParameters\dvbs.
8. Delete all the files in that folder.
9. Paste the files from ProgramData.
10. Commit and push. Don't forget to git-add the new files (if any).
