updating LAV Filters extension (1 Viewer)

Hi offbyone,

I have a problem with the update function from the LAV Filters extension. An update is done in 2 steps:

1. uninstalling the old LAV Filters
2. installing the new LAV Filters

Of course, while uninstalling the old LAV Filters, all settings I have made in the LAV filter/splitter configuration dialog are lost.

Isn't it possible for the extension to update/install the new LAV without uninstalling the existing one? That's the way I've used without the LAV Filters extension.

I gave up updating because everytime I have to reconfigure the LAV Filters.
And sometimes even more annoying, some other plugins update LAV Filters without prior notice!!!!

This will hopefully be resolved soon. (MP 1.3 Alpha)

The fix is already committed to Git. The problem is the MPE installer tool always forcing an uninstall.
If attached the fixed file here:
http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=3832
Replace the file inside the zip in your MP install folder and you can enjoy updating without uninstalling.
