updating MySQL DB (1 Viewer)

All,

I've searched around and was not able to find any info on how to update the mysql db with new info.


What I'd like to do is the following:

1. add shows to the database that I've downloaded so that they show up in the recordings list.
2. I've converted some of the shows from .ts to .264 (they take up less space), and would like to edit the details in the database so that they point to the new filename.

Can someone please help me on how to update the database.

running MP 1.0.2., and mysql, i think version 5 that was downloaded as part of the install.

I dont understand why you want downloaded shows with recorded tv... have you considered using a purpose-built interface, like MP TV SERIES

I guess i can use this product for the shows that i watch but I have to see if this will work from a client.. I may have to do its own install.

Most of the shows I have are Barney and The Backyardigans... let me see if the TV plugin has info for these and if it can maintain a central database so that I won't have to install/configure and provide data for each client.
