I was running 1.0 and upgraded to 1.1 but instead of doing an upgrade it did a fresh install.. OK, so I'm past being upset about the lack of communication about that it would wipe everything...

Installation notes:

MediaPortal 1.1.0 RC1 installation present:

* The installer will allow you to simply "upgrade" to 1.1.0 RC2.
* Please also update your community skins and plugins to their latest version right after you installed 1.1.0 RC2!

So. my question is I had some recordings that I would like to retrieve how can I do that? or are they also gone?

Hi!

Should be retrieved if u select the same recording folder as you had in your earlier setup, select this folder(s) from TV-server setup and after doing that import those recordings.

you said you upgraded from 1.0, the instruction you quoted from specifically states MediaPortal 1.1.0 RC1 installation present:

so did you upgrade from 1.0 or 1.1 RC1?

Nothing has to be done to the DB?

When I started MP it said 1.0 on the bottom left but I thought/I was pretty sure I had downloaded 1.1.0 RC1..
