I just got my hands on a USB-UIRT today and have been struggling the entire day to get it to control my settopbox.
The USB-UIRT has no problem controling MP with my One for All universal remote at all, but when I try to program 0-9 in the settopbox setup, it just sits there waiting for me to press a remote button.
I thought that maybe the remote used a strange frequency that the USB-UIRT can not pick up, but I can actually setup buttons 0-9 to control events in MP.
I even went as far as to write down the IR codes that gets displayed when you setup the MP Commands and then manually entering them in the UIRTUSB-tuner.xml file, but that did not work either!!

Is there a new version of the USB-UIRT driver or something?

I've heard a few people say that their USB-UIRT is not working ...

I'll look into it some more, but I'm a little puzzled to be honest.

TRy putting your remote real close

I had the same problem. MP would learn MP commands fine but it would only learn STB commands if I put the remote about an inch from the IR transceiver. Let me know if this works.

Thanx Exponent2, holding the remote really close did the trick. Wonder why that is??

Are you using MP1 or the SVN build

I was just wondering which build you are using as I have run into some other issues with the blaster.

I'm using Driver 1.4, Firmware version 5.9, Plugin version 1.16. I downloaded all the latest (as far as know) drivers yesterday.

I was actually wondering if you are using Mediaportal 1 or the SVN builds?
