use powerbutton on remote to close MP? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I find that having MP running for long time uninterupted on EG shoutcast stations can cause the program to behave erratic (e.g. show toolbar at the bottom) end in some occasions even completely hang.
Also from a power point of view it would be nice if I could just close the MP program allowing the PC to lower clockspeeds when not really using the program.

is there any way I van get that done?

Hi is there no one that could help me with this?
It is a month ago that I asked this quiestion.
Or is it just impossible? That could also be the anwer and then I know it is just impossible to get this done.

With LM Remote Keymap you can map ALT-F4 to the power button on the remote.

Hi I got the power button closing the program by adding this button to ethe close program action in the IMON setup.
But now when I start the activity Mediacentre op mijn harmony,
this also sends the "power button code" to the mediaportal PC to switch it on and this triggers the shutdown function of Vista.
so the shutdown popup appears.

This is bad for the WAF.

I found a solution that workt OK in my situation.

Mediaportal with IMON receiver and the harmony one using the activities.

In th Imon reveiver I added that a powerdon button must trigger close program. (must be in focus )
and in the harmonmy driver I added in the poweron sequence for the MEdiacenter an send green button at startup
